Traffic toppings and specialty coatings can be applied to concrete surfaces to provide a seamless and monolithic waterproof membrane. This dual-applied system allows for an uncompromised strength and breathtaking finish.
This asphalt based, hot applied, liquid rubber waterproofing membrane is melted from a solid product to provide a highly bonded seal on vertical or horizontal surfaces.
A polymer-enhanced, asphalt emulsion waterproof membrane that is spray applied to concrete, masonry and other structural substrates. This product is liquid based and mainly used in vertical installations.
Crystalline waterproofing uses a capillary action, waterproofing formulation that can be used to fill small voids and cracks in concrete surfaces. Additionally, this product can also be broadcasted onto horizontal concrete surfaces at the time of initial set. Crystalline waterproofing penetrates the concrete and provides excellent protection against salts, alkali and seawater.
Cementitious waterproofing utilizes high performance proprietary latex-acrylic compounds in combination with a formulated cement based powder to offer a simple process that protects and waterproofs any concrete surface. This application is ideal for bridging larger gaps in concrete surfaces.
Modified Bitumen systems integrate a smooth surfaced, rubberized sheet that is used in conjunction with a polyester, fiberglass or composite carrier. Modified Bitumen products are primarily used in horizontal applications.
Pre-applied waterproofing is specially designed for blindside installations such as lagging, under floor and elevator pits. This product is a highly durable, zero permeating membrane that aggressively bonds to concrete.
A composite sheet comprising a thick HDPE film, an aggressive high level adhesive and a weather resistant protective coating. The application of HDPE membranes is primarily used in blindside, subgrade scenarios.
This rubberized and self adhering asphalt membrane is integrated with a laminated reverse side that is applied to a prepared substrate providing a high performance waterproof barrier. This product can be used in above and below grade situations as well as applied horizontally or vertically.
Bentonite is a type of clay having the unusual characteristics of cohesion, binding, sealing, and thickening. Usually gray in color and when processed has the consistency of fine powder, similar to cement. When installed below grade as a waterproofing membrane, it becomes hydrated with the moisture that is naturally present in the soil and forms an impermeable barrier that absorbs and expels water and chemicals. Bentonite can expand and contract an infinite number of times and is capable of absorbing seven to 10 times its own weight in water.
This drainage system is made up of a composite plastic core fitted with dimples to deter moisture from straying towards the intended surface. The opposite side of the board is then matted with a filter fabric that allows water to pass through to the drainage core while keeping soil and dirt particles out.
Thermal Insulation is a product that prevents the flow of heat from objects that differ in temperature. Insulation provides a means to maintain a gradient of temperature. By providing a region of insulation in which heat flow is reduced, thermal radiation is reflected rather than absorbed.
Sandblasting is a very effective way to prepare a surface in anticipation to apply a membrane that cannot be successfully applied to a smooth surface. Additionally, sandblasting is also a great way to remove any old debris that may need to done before resurfacing.
LIQUID BOOT® is a seamless, spray-applied, waterbased membrane containing no VOCs, which provides a barrier against vapor intrusion into structures. LIQUID BOOT® is installed under slab and on below grade vertical walls as a gas vapor barrier to minimize vapor and nuisance water migration into buildings. LIQUID BOOT® spray-application directly to penetrations, footings, grade beams, pile caps and other irregular surfaces, provides for a fully-adhered gas vapor barrier system.
A thermoplastic membrane that temporarily changes from a solid to a semi-solid state when heated sufficiently, enabling the sheets or panels that are overlapped to be fused together and return to a solid upon cooling. This heating and cooling effect leaves a clean, overlapped and continuous membrane.
A roof that is partially or completely covered with vegetation and a growing medium is called a Green Roof. Once waterproofed, the vegetation is then planted over the membrane. It may also include additional layers such as a root barrier and drainage or irrigation systems.
A liquid polyurethane is activated and Injected under pressure into wet or leaking concrete surfaces. The polyurethane make up allows for natural movement of concrete due to thermal shrinkage and can also expand up to 20 times its volume. This application is ideal for penetrating deep into concrete cavities and stopping the flow of water through spider cracks.
COREFLEX® consists of a thermoplastic membrane integrally bonded to a proprietary Active Polymer Core(APC) layer. Combined with fully welded seams, this provides the ultimate waterproofing protection. The COREFLEX reinforced thermoplastic membrane is engineered to resist high hydrostatic pressure and groundwater contaminants typical of foundation conditions. In addition to waterproofing performance, the membrane has an extremely low water vapour transmission that qualifies it as a Class “A” Vapour Retarder per ASTM E1745.
Featuring XP technology, the latest innovation in active waterproofing. This advanced polymer technology provides exceptional performance in a wide range of ground contaminates—including high-saline conditions. Unlike passive membranes when used alone, the self-sealing ability of the active XP technology enables the ULTRASEAL XP waterproofing membrane to seal minor cuts or damage to the membrane. Most importantly, it has been proven effective in both hydrostatic and non-hydrostatic conditions. ULTRASEAL XP can be installed directly to green concrete and in extreme temperatures, thus providing greater flexibility to the construction schedule. The durable membrane can also withstand pedestrain construction traffic and inclement weather. It can be installed in Virtually any weather condition.
Protection from water Ingress:
Provides a strong mechanical bond to poured concrete. Self-sealing membrane laps. Proven effective in structures under continuous or intermittent hydrostatic pressure—up to 70m (231 ft).
Protection from Contaminants:
XP technology resists a wide-range of contaminants, including high-saline conditions and dilute organic solvents.
